This is Horst Moenck, a linejudge from Germany. Horst has become an institution in badminton

Horst has decided to retire, and it will not be travelling with the badminton caravan anymore!

We wish Horst all the best in his retirement!

kid-player-2-400.jpg - 55449 BytesKids, from clubs all over the Netherlands, gave a festive start to the afternoon session.
They were told one week ago that they had been
chosen to escort the players on to court, and their adrenalin was coming out their ears!
Here are the Dutch Mixed Doubles, Paulien van Dooremalen/Jurgen Wouters
on the way to face Scotland. Unfortunately their smiles stiffened, as they lost in three games.

The most important tool factory in the arena these days!
The Yonex stringers can be really busy fixing the rackets for the players!
And they do it so thorougly - debating what to do before they do it...
