	Look at this happy face! This is Horst Moenck, a linejudge from Germany. Horst has become an institution in badminton and is 'a part of the furniture'. Or at least - until this event finishes ob the 16 April! Horst has decided to retire, and it will not be travelling with the badminton caravan anymore! We wish Horst all the best in his retirement!

There are many ways to load your energy sources - Dicky Palyama, NED, is enjoying talking to this little guy...
	A Team Event is always something special! Michael Fuchs, Germany, have been 'the noisiest' German these last couple of days! As you will probably imagine the horn of his can make a lot of noise! During the match Saturday, he held a ring mobile phone in front of it....... imagine?
Bjorn Joppien, GER, is always a pleasure to look at...
	Kids, from clubs all over the Netherlands, gave a festive start to the afternoon session. They were told one week ago that they had been chosen to escort the players on to court, and their adrenalin was coming out their ears! Here are the Dutch Mixed Doubles, Paulien van Dooremalen/Jurgen Wouters on the way to face Scotland. Unfortunately their smiles stiffened, as they lost in three games.

The most important tool factory in the arena these days! The Yonex stringers can be really busy fixing the rackets for the players! And they do it so thorougly - debating what to do before they do it...
	...as you can see, they have fun while working!
Speaking of working hard... All day players, officials and the public can enjoy fresh fruit in variation!
	It is the best energy you can get - except if you are the one preparing it, like Marsha Bakker does .....
It takes a lot of preparations from Paula Rip, NBB (Dutch Badminton Association) to make everything ready for going on court...
	The kids are getting ready for a Press Conference with Brenda Beenhakker, NED... (keep an eyes on the photo-page index site - more will follow tomorrow Monday!
